…for all these reasons: 1. Dedicated RV parking in a quiet area of their large lot. Straightforward check-in. 2. Impressive brewery and restaurant with a large beer selection 3. The FOOD! When you’re road weary and hungry for good pizza, outstanding smoked meats and BBQ (OMG the brisket!) and so much more. 4. Convenient to gas, grocery stores, etc. Got some ice cream at the nearby Perrydale creamery, too. Bonus!

We found South County through Harvest Host. The photos looked nice, we like beer and great food. But, what we found was an amazing and incredible experience. Your Brew house is wildly, yup, incredible. Congratulations to you lovely staff. They made us feel welcomed and answered most of my crazy questions about your brew house and system. ( I worked as a manager at the first Microbrewery in our county in New York’s Southern Tier. Emphasis on micro. I now work at a Winery as a wine educator.) Hospitality is everything. You all have that in spades!

We had a large 35+ guest graduation/birthday dinner party and I couldn’t have been happier with the service! This is the 2nd time I have held an event here and I will continue to do so. The wait staff was amazing and able to handle multiple special requests. Rene, the Event Planner is so friendly and super helpful!

From the time we placed the reservation for 22 people, your staff was amazing. We had a birthday party for my daughter and everyone from her 2 year old son to her 80 year old grandpa had a great experience. We will be back! Thank you for being a part of a special memory.

We arrived and were directed to the site to park our RV. We have a 42′ RV and our RV fit perfectly in the spot. We had lunch and dinner at South County Brewing. It was Father’s Day and you needed reservations, but they had 2 bars that you could sit at. We went to the one upstairs. The place is huge and beautiful. The food and beer was really good. The bartenders were friendly and attentive. Would definitely recommend this place!

What a wonderful restaurant and brewery. Excellent beers on whiskeys that they distill.They also have a fine assortment of wines and excellent cocktails as well. Food was incredible.We had the best charcuterie board of my life. Prices are quite affordable.The outdoor space was lovely.It also includes fireplaces and a beanbag throw game. Inside is a beautiful glass separated view of the brewery , beautiful woodwork construction , as well as tree fireplaces in upstairs bar , a downstairs bar , an outdoor bar , really , really a lovely space. Parking is easy to get to, quiet, and secluded. I cannot wait to stay here again when my travels take me through York.

RV parking location was great. Keep in mind this is a business, so prepare for early morning business activities close by if staying throughout the week. Now the venue… It was simply extraordinary! Check in was a breeze and the staff were terrific. The brewery & restaurant are well worth an overnight stay. We would frequent this place regularly if we lived in the area. Food and beverages were top notch. I could go on & on about the venue, but let the pics speak for themselves. Sorry, neglected to get a pic of the parking location.

I wanted to thank you & the staff at South County for helping to make last Friday’s event absolutely perfect. All of your coordination was well communicated. Upon arrival, everything was set up as we previously discussed. If we needed anything, they were more than happy to accommodate us. We discovered we had an egg allergy in the group so Sam noted on each food item that included eggs. From beginning to end, everything was fabulous. The girls worked tirelessly throughout the night making sure we had everything we needed. We would highly recommend South County to anyone who is planning a special event for friends and family.

What a fantastic spot! Our son’s Squirt hockey team needed a place for dinner, and we absolutely hit the jackpot. We’re from Connecticut, so we had no idea this gen of a brewery even existed in York, PA but we’re sure glad we found it.
Sam, Rene, and the entire staff were outstanding. From quick responses to full bellies they did a fantastic job. A reservation for 34 people? No problem – handled with total confidence. They even let us pre-order the team’s food so everything would be hot and ready the moment the kids came running in. We ordered pizzas, pretzels, and mac and cheese, and everything was excellent. The beer was top-tier too.
Lexi, the outdoor bartender, was quick, friendly, and kept the line of thirsty dads moving with ease – plus her beer recommendations were spot on.
If you need a large-group reservation with great service and smooth execution, give South County Brewery a call. We’ll definitely be back during next. year’s hockey tournament.

We really enjoyed our stay at South County Brewing. The Brewery is very majestic looking! The food was great and the beer magnificent! Try the Liminal! There was a guy singing for entertainment who was very good! Also an outdoor bar. Parking was easy in the spot next to the woods as we were the only Campers there. Quiet and well lit. Lights did go out later. Wildlife all around! And fireflies!
LANCASTER
They’ve come a long way from being just a garage operation! South County is one of the best breweries to come out of Central PA, and I was so excited when they took over the old Pressroom location in downtown Lancaster!
The space is gorgeous and they’ve done a nice job renovating – plenty of seating in the front, with booth and chair options, and the really long bar. There’s also to-go fridge at the entrance, along with some merch options.
There’s more seating in the “Kings Hideaway” room in back that can be used for private events/parties. There’s a separate bar back there as well as big screen TVs.
We went for Mother’s Day and enjoyed a list lunch (amazing charcuterie and a very generous beet salad) and all my favorite beers – Sound Machine, Sonic Bloom, Stellar Phase, Liminal Moment.
Even thought there was only one server on hand to manage the back room when we arrived, she did a great job checking in on the tables, keeping drinks filled, etc. She explained the special menu items and was knowledgeable about the beers, too, which is always a big plus to me.
Really impressed and pleased with my whole experience and can’t wait to come back!

Thank you for hosting our group of 26! The food and service were amazing! Our server, Mahogany, did an incredible job! It’s not easy to serve a large group (especially our group). Mahogany kept up with each guest, making sure they had what they needed and did it all with patience and a positive attitude. She was extremely helpful! Everyone in our group said the food was delicious.

Amazing. Food, atmosphere, service…perfect. Out of town and stumbled up on the outside patio from the beautiful waterfall (as we were walking to another restaurant). BBQ was delicious and portions were MORE than ample, to say the least. Great drink menu and prices were fantastic for the quality and menu. So pleased.

I feel South County is the best brewery in town today. The fact that the food is very good as well makes it a stop for us every time we trip to Lancaster. The venue used to be the Press Room for those that remember. The interior layout is somewhat different.

Damn fine crab cakes. Perfectly constructed and perfectly broiled- lots of lump, very little binder. The crab flavor shines through, not the usual “murder by Old Bay” fare.

Very friendly, accommodating, nice hostess, waitress. Patio seating was big and tables were spread out so you could have a conversation! Food was good. Specialty drinks were very good.
